Here's my process

Step 1
You tell me what you need theme music for and send me the material you have for it.

Step 2
I then thoroughly review the material, absorb the essence of it in my soul, and get back to you with the definitive theme music for it.

Step 3
You only license the theme music if you really like it. You pay nothing otherwise.
So, the idea is, if you were working with J.K. Rowling and she was writing Harry Potter for you, and you sent me the material, I would get back to you with Hedwig's Theme. You would then give it a listen, really like it, and license it from me.
